Initially, I was going to call this one sensual, but just prior to posting it the word "sensitivity" came to mind instead. Impatiens are such a fragile plant. With one bump against a pot, the stems and flowers can easily be broken....so sensitivity it is.

This mandala is an explosive one. My thinking behind this one is that since it is created from a photo of a poppy, the poppy explodes upon opening. It is brilliant for only a couple of days and the petals fall off leaving only the remaining seedpod.

This mandala was created from a photo of a calla lily that I took. Since the photo was a close-up of the lily, the mandala ended up being a very simple one. I may try doing this one again to see how much the design can be changed.
